I remember that a few days before my 17th birthday I went shopping with my mom and at a store I saw a wonderful prom dress. I liked it because it was a gray dress with corset back and flights on the skirt. I, instantly, I dreamed wearing the dress for my high school graduation, so I told my mom I wanted this gift for my birthday. However, she not took me no attention.
Every day I went wherever I could to see the dress and check if he was still in the store.
For my birthday I hoped I to break the paper from my gift and that inside was my dress, but it was not. So, I convinced myself that my mom did not mind my desire.
Anyway, I'm not materialistic so I not frustrated and I thought that the dress had already been exhausted, so I decided to forget it.
Time passed and arrived on Christmas Eve, my mom asked me what I wanted for this date and I gave her many alternatives: a machine hair straightening, kitchen items, a book, etc.
Arriving Christmas dinner and the time to open presents, my mom hands me his, I carefully open it and I got a big surprise, was the dress of my dreams!
I remember that at that time, I cried with joy and I was thrilled to tears. Mom hugged me tightly and I told her he loved and I thank her for making my dreams come true. It was a Christmas miracle.
That is a really nice ending to a story of sufferin : )
